Want to play Mahjong Regularly?

Mahjong is still a niche board game in London, and since it requires four players, it can be hard to organise regular games with just your own friends or family. In many parts of Asia, Mahjong Parlours bring people together to play — and while we’re not trying to run a commercial Mahjong club, we are here to nurture a community.

Many of our Mahjong players started as learners in our workshops, and many of them are now hooked — eager to keep playing. That’s why we created our Just Play tickets. We’re not a traditional club, and there’s no membership or annual fee. If you’d love to spend a Saturday afternoon playing a few games in great company and unbeatable vibes, just book a ticket and come join us.

Different Mahjong styles welcomed

🇭🇰 Hong Kong Style (Main Style)
Our community primarily plays Hong Kong Style Mahjong, and we follow the 3 fan minimum rule to win a hand.
If you can play other Chinese styles — like Taiwanese, Sichuan, or British Mahjong — no worries! We’ll provide scoring cards so you can easily adapt to the Hong Kong rules. But these tables are not suitable for Beginners. If you have yet to graduates from Level 1 and Level 2 of our workshops, or don’t know how to play with scores, please book our workshops to build your skills and confidence first.

🇯🇵 Japanese Riichi (New Community)
Riichi Mahjong is new to us, but we love its fast pace and strategic depth!
We’re gradually building a Riichi player group, so if you already know how to play Riichi, PERFECT! Please join us. If you already play Chinese styles, one of our instructors or community members may be able to help you, but we can’t guarantee. Unlike our structured workshops, we can’t guarantee a full teaching experience for Riichi just yet — but you’re welcome to learn alongside other people perhaps.

Our BEST Price Promise

We’re doing our best to keep Just Play tickets affordable at £15 for a two-hour session — that’s our best price promise. 🙌 Unlike clubs that charge entry fees or venues that require a minimum spend, our ticket price simply covers venue, staff, and admin costs. We also provide free tea, coffee, and the occasional festive treat for everyone.
