How to Book your Private Mahjong Lessons
We offer both in-person lessons at our Aldgate centre (E1, London) and private lessons at your location (within Zone 2). You can book a one-off session to learn all you need to play the game to win, or book a serie of two sessions to learn how to count scores and win big!

What types of Mahjong can we teach?
Our typical 2-hour Newbie Workshop covers all the basics — tile types, how to form sets, and the overall game flow. It’s perfect for beginners and based on Classic Chinese Mahjong, which lays a strong foundation for other popular styles like Hong Kong, British, or even Indian variations.
Level 2: Improver Workshop dives deeper into strategy, scoring systems, and special hands. At this level, you can request to focus on a specific style — scoring and special hands differ by version. We recommend Hong Kong style for its simplicity and wide appeal.
We also offer Japanese Riichi or American Mahjong upon request. Whether you’re just getting started or ready to explore different styles, we’ve got you covered.

Looking for a fun and affordable way to learn Mahjong? Our regular Saturday Mahjong workshop for newbies is your perfect starting point! You’ll get the same expert instruction as our private lessons, but at a fraction of the cost.
